BASIC QUESTIONS

We are happy to answer any questions you have about the Cabin, or making a booking. Please send us an enquiry. 

We would encourage you to read through our FAQ’s to see if we have already answered your question there.

Book as early as you can to avoid disappointment of missing out on the dates you need.

The area is well sought after and is always popular, so the sooner you can book the better!

Yes, we require 25% deposit at the time of booking to retain the dates and secure your booking.  The remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to your date of arrival.

Check in times are after 4pm on the date of arrival and check out is by 10am on the day of departure.  

The Croft Cabin can accommodate 2 adults or 2 adult’s with 3 children under the age of 16. 

Please note this is the maximum we can accommodate. 

Yes, there is private parking for guests at the front of the cabin. 

We are happy to discuss the option of bringing your pet.

Yes, we provide bedding and towels for our guests. 

There is a kitchenette in the cabin which has a  fridge, microwave and hob top.  We also provide a toaster and kettle; as well as a BBQ outside.

Yes we have our own WIFI in the cabin which will allow you to connect to the outside world if you chose!

We also have a TV with firestick as an option for you to use.

Yes there are plenty of sockets available to charge your devices and cameras, so  you don’t miss out on any photo opportunities! 

We do not have laundry facilities within the cabin; however there is a small laundrette in the neighbouring  Shore Campsite. They have two washing machines and a dryer. Tokens for this must be bought from their campsite shop. 

Our cabin is warm and cosy as we have a small heater and additional blankets inside. 

Please remember to check local travel advice when visiting during the winter months as we are located in the North West coast of Scotland and it can get very chilly up here! 

P.S. a wooly hat would be recommended in Winter! 

No I’m afraid not. The nearest train station is Lairg which is 50 miles away.  There is a daily bus service to and from Ullapool to Lochinver, but it is advisable to have your own transport. 

No, we don’t have any hidden or additional charges. 

The deposit is non refundable but if we secure another booking for the cancelled dates we may be able to refund it depending on the circumstances and we will deal with this on a case by case basis.
